We understand that life can be unpredictable, so at Ravenpaw Grooming, we offer limited de-matting services to ensure your pet's comfort and safety. Excessive matting may require us to cut or shave the areas to prevent stress or discomfort. De-matting carries risks such as brush burn, clipper burn, nicks, or in severe cases, hematomas. We take every precaution to avoid these, and if the risk is high, we will recommend consulting your veterinarian for further care.
At Ravenpaw Grooming, a minimum 24-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations to ensure optimal scheduling. Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice will incur a $25.00 fee. If you miss an appointment without prior notice, a charge of up to 50% of the grooming service cost may apply. Clients with repeated no-shows will need to pre-pay to secure future appointments. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining our service quality.
At Ravenpaw Grooming, we maintain a flea-free environment for the safety of all pets. If fleas are discovered on your pet, a mandatory flea bath will be administered, incurring an additional $15.00 fee. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to this charge. Your cooperation helps us ensure a clean and healthy space for all our furry clients.
At Ravenpaw Grooming, we require all pets to be current on vaccinations to ensure a safe environment. New York State law mandates that rabies vaccinations are up-to-date. We also ask for current vaccinations against kennel cough and Parvovirus. Due to rising cases of Canine Influenza, we request this vaccination as well. Although we thoroughly disinfect between each pet, maintaining these vaccinations provides an additional layer of protection for all pets in our care.
At Ravenpaw Grooming, we strive to provide an accurate estimate for your pet's pick-up time and will contact you promptly upon completion of grooming services. To ensure space for subsequent appointments, we request timely pick-up. If your pet remains in our care more than one hour after notification, a boarding fee will be added to your total. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain efficient and organized service for all our clients.
Our groomers maintain a strict schedule to serve all clients effectively. Arriving late for drop-off can delay the completion of your pet's grooming and impact subsequent appointments. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, a fee may apply, or we may need to reschedule if insufficient time remains to complete your pet's grooming. This policy helps us be fair to other clients and manage our time effectively. If you foresee a delay, please contact us as soon as possible.
